Day 14 of 30

Back when Keith and I lived in Japan and kids were just a dream a great friend encouraged me to buy some Japanese kids things while we were there. I listened to her wise words and bought some really cute shirts and some toys. Logan has been wearing the Japanese shirts for the last few months, I am sure there are pictures sprinkled in the blog of these shirts. I LOVE them!
Today we were doing some Spring/ getting ready for #2 cleaning and I brought out a Shinkansen cup, bowl and plate that I have in my Japanese stash of goodies. He loved them! I didn't get to take a picture but he was carrying them all over... imagine that!

Here are a few pictures of Logan playing today. Don't you love the Batman PJs?

This one is funny because he knows Keith is around the corner about to chase him!

Day 13 of 30

We had a low key day today; who am I kidding everyday is pretty low key around here! We were lucky to have the sun back and the temperature was in the 60s so Logan and I spent most the morning and afternoon playing outside.
In the evening we picked up a rocking chair I found on craigslist. I wanted another rocking chair before peanut gets here. While I was taking a picture of our new antique rocking chair Keith brought out some bubbles to play with Logan. On a side note, we bought these bubbles back in March sure that the warm days were right around the corner... haha we were wrong.
It was a giggly evening watching Logan play with the bubbles!

Our new rocking chair. We sat Logan in it and he started rocking! He loved it. How did he know it was a rocking chair??

Day 12 of 30

We went to a Sunday family breakfast and then burned off some steam at Independence Grove.

Playing at the Park...

 I LOVE this picture!

It was a fun Sunday, played outside and spent time together. Really, doesn't get better than that. For dinner we tried grilling pizza, turned out pretty good! Happy Sunday night, I'm off to bed.

Day 11 of 30

We had a box to send and while Keith was getting it ready Logan was watching everything he was doing. When Keith was finished we thought we would let Logan decorate the box!
Yes, we gave our one year old a sharpie, no one was harmed in this art project.
Here is Logan's beautiful art work.

Day 10 of 30

My Mom has been bringing Logan toys and books from my childhood and some new ones just for him when she visits. Last Fall she brought Logan my Fisher Price tape recorder. I have many memories with this tape recorder. :) She even brought a tape from a music group that she and I went to when I was a toddler. We have been listen to it since last Fall when Logan was just rolling around on a blanket, today we listen to it because he pushes the play button and dances!
Here's a few pictures from the afternoon.

Day 9 of 30

Since Logan was about 2 months old we have been reading to him. He was really interested until he figured out how to walk! Then he was too busy working on his walk to slow down and look at a book. Also, he started chewing on the books which was not so good.
But this week he had a change of heart. When Keith gets home he points to a book or brings Keith a book and they read together. It may only be 10 or 15 minutes but he is so into the books and sitting with Keith it melts my heart. I took a few pictures this afternoon... yes, our laundry made the picture also, oh well!

Such a sweet moment with his Daddy.
