Morning Routine

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We play, we walk, we nap, we make masterpieces, we smile, we laugh, we greet Daddy when he comes home. It is my favorite routine.

Valentine's Day 2012

The four of us had a LOVEly (cheesy, i know) Valentine's Day together. 

 In the morning we made Daddy a Valentine's card.It was Logan's first time using water colors. 

 

 Then I attempted to take sweet pictures of my two Valentines and well...we weren't all on the same page.

 

 Everett played along for a few shots.

 

Then Daddy came home to have lunch with us and brought chocolate covered strawberries. Logan discovered he is a big fan. He held it and ate it with hardly a mess!

 

   When Keith got home from work we went to the mall to walk around. They have the coolest train that drives around the second floor. Logan LOVES it. We walk and follow it around. This time Daddy and Logan went for a ride!

 Needless to say, we had a fun time together. I LOVE this family we have created.

Quality time

A trip to Target with Grandma & Grandpa to cure cabin fever; it works every time!

Charlie

I bought Charlie Brown's Christmas for the boys at the beginning of December. Logan watched it a few times around Christmas and liked it. Then he got sick recently and we watched it soooooo many times. I even tried cartoons on PBS but that is not what he wanted, he wanted Charlie Brown & Snoopy. And well, Everett seemed to be fine with it too. I have to say, the music doesn't get old. It's been two days without Logan asking to see Charlie and I think I'm the one going through withdrawal!

We have been spending our mornings and sometimes evenings outside. All of us enjoy the fresh air! Logan likes to throw the tennis ball and watch me or Keith run for it. He aslo colors on the chalk board and draws "baby and noses" as he would tell you. ;) Everett sits in the stroller and watches everything Logan does. It won't be long until they are running along together. 
The three of us take a walk in the morning to the main road and watch cars, trucks and buses go by. Logan enjoys pointing them out and we talk about what we see. He is watching every detail so close. It's adorable. And sweet Everett just closes his eyes to all the noise and takes a morning nap.
It may be winter but it's been mild so far and we are making the best of it! It's these moments with them that make me feel so much love.
