Changes

Well, it's happened. Keith is no longer wearing the USN uniform. Monday he starts his new career. It feels surreal because we have been planing this move for so long and now it is here and happening. We will have some crazy days ahead with moving and getting adjusted to a new schedule but it will be wonderful.
I am so proud of Keith for working hard and finding a job that has a career path and something he can be excited about. I'm also proud of us for deciding we were going to leave the Navy and doing it no matter what everyone around us said. The Navy showed us beautiful parts of the world and helped us make life long friendships which both have shaped who we are today. So, here is to closing a lovely chapter in our lives and turning the page.

7 months

Our Everett is 7 months old! He such a cutie pie.
He is...
-rolling over
-sitting up
-chewing everything
-always smiling
-watching Logan all the time
-wants to stand
-will walk if you stand hum up and hold his hands
-can grab anything in reach
-can yell
-has great baby babble
-giggles at his brother or when tickled
-eating 3 times a day
-has tried: sweet potatoes, peas, pears, peaches, apples, bananas, avocado, turkey & chicken
-oh & he can suck his toes!

* His eye color is still a mystery. They are brown in the middle and then blue on the outside. I think they are still changing.

Car

This is a picture I have been wanting to write about for some time. Logan loves to play with his cars and about a month ago he decided to start assign names to the cars. It first started with assigning himself a car and by the way he refers to himself as Me Me,  how cute is that! Then I believe Mommy and Daddy were assigned each a car. A few days later Everett aka Baby was given a car of his own. Then when my parents were last visiting they were given their own car as well. He also assigned uncle Mark and uncle Steve a car. ( Sorry Mark, you are the red race car and are not in the picture above.) Another week went by and Logan learned to say Lindsey, so now the black race car is sometimes Lindsey and sometimes Steve. ;)

Just to clear things up Logan came up with this on his own, He lines his cars up when he plays and tells us who is who. He even takes a few of them to bed with him each night so that he can play in his crib the next morning. The whole thing is adorable.

Clouds

We had another sunny day today. I am feeling spoiled! We got to break out our shorts today!! We met friends at the park and played, took a walk, played in our yard, relaxed, Logan had a snack outside and I had a cappuccino.  And the last picture, oh it's my FAVORITE to date. Seriously, look at those faces. Love it.

So, Keith and I are trying to trim down a little. This is what our dinners look like lately!

Someone you talked to today

My husband. As long as we have been together we do everything we can to talk daily. Through Navy deployments, travel, work, kids... he always finds a way.

LOUD

These pictures are from Friday when we went to the Harley Davidson museum. It never never crossed my mind that Logan would be frightened at the sound of motorcycles. Keith has a motorcycle and Logan as heard it and watched him ride it but for some reason the museum was another story. We spent a total of about 15 minutes there. Hey, it was a 15 minutes! ;)
