Goose Egg
Oh, yes the title says it all. Logan went head first into the wall on Monday. Keith had just came home for lunch and Logan was excited to see him. He went running to greet his Daddy, tripped and hit the corner of the wall. It scared all of us. A goose egg showed up immediately, Logan cried, and we called the doctor. They told us to watch his behavior,
and come in if he wasn't acting himself or was lethargic.
Luckily after his tears he was back to normal. He stayed up for a few more hours, ate & played. We went for a walk in his favorite little car and he fell asleep!
Poor guy had a long morning, Keith and I felt terrible about his little head. I know it's bound to happen but it doesn't make it any easier. Two days later it's looking much better.

HAIRCUT #2
Logan was in need for a haircut again. We took him to the same place, Pigtails and Crewcuts and he did so well! He was a little shy at first but then the lady brought out an Elmo toy and soon enough Logan was her friend. He sat still the whole time and even checked himself out in the mirror at the end! Such a cutie!
Here's his hair before the cut, he had just woken up from a nap and was playing in the car.
Sitting in a fire truck deciding what he thought of the place. ( Me & Peanut keeping him company)
His infamous surprise face. Love it.
Hi Daddy! (Look! 2 front teeth!)
All done, no tears for this little guy. So handsome!!

Time out
After I wrote the title I thought, you're going to think that I put Logan in time out! Haha... no, today I need some time out. I actually feel guilty saying I need a break, but everone needs to recharge sometimes, right?
So, when Keith came home today I went out for a few hours and he and Logan had some time together. At first I didn't know what I wanted to do and then I thought... Pedicure! So, that was that.
( Not a big fan of feet but I had to show my summery look)
It was nice to have a little down time to myself but it was even nicer to go home to my family. This is the picture they sent me while I was gone. aww...
And these are just cute pictures of our little boy playing outside today.
Here is Logan showing Selby Elmo, cracked me up! He would not leave Selby alone today!

Lake County Fielders
Family left today and we decided to go out for the afternoon rather than stay in and do housework... yuck. Keith has been wanting to go to a Lake County Fielders game so we headed out to the game. We thought it was minor league but it's actually part of the newly formed independent North American League. They are owned by Kevin Costner and this is their second season.
I believe the stadium is under construction, right now it's just a field with bleachers and some seating. It was fun, you're really close to the field. We were actually sitting by players wives hearing all the gossip... kinda funny!
Here are some pictures from our outing.
Oh! I almost forgot ELMO WAS THERE!! Logan smiled at Elmo and put his hand out. I think he wanted to touch him! ;) He does not take after his Mommy, L is not scared of weird dressed up characters!

CROCS!
Ok, so this probably goes along with "never say never" theme... I bought Logan his first pair of Crocs! I use to think they looked ridiculous, especially on Mario Batali with his bright orange ones. But I had a change of heart when I was pregnant with Logan and needed something to wear to work. Confession: They are actually really comfortable! So, when I found some on sale at Zulily I decided to get Logan a pair and even got Keith a pair to match. ;)
Logan seemed to like them, we tested them out this evening.
So, if you too think they look ridiculous they might but you should really give them a try.

No Tears
Yesterday we were playing outside in the backyard and Logan went over to his water table to put his boat in and start playing. I looked over and didn't see anything in the water so I let him do his thing. (I try to always check for bugs before he starts playing) Well, a few minutes later he came over to me and was rubbing his fingers against his thumb on his left hand. I thought it was just because his hand was wet but I looked over at the water table and saw a giant wasp! WHAT!?
I jumped up and looked at Logan's thumb and it was red, swollen and had a little red mark on the inside. I felt TERRIBLE. He didn't even cry!!! I called the doctor to see what they recommended. The nurse said to see if he would hold something cold and give him Benadryl if he seemed irritated. Lucky I had a smoothie snack that I had left in the freezer accidentally, so I gave it to L and he held it for about 20 minutes. After that the swelling went down and he didn't seem bothered at all. I can't believe he didn't cry! Such a tough guy. Now, ask me about a diaper change... and that's a different story! ;)

Aquarium Adventure
This afternoon we took a trip downtown, had a picnic lunch and went to the Shedd aquarium.
Keith packed a nice lunch for all of us and we sat by the water and had lunch before we headed to the aquarium
Our View.
After lunch we walked along the lake to get to the Aquarium. And of course stopped for a photo.
Chicago.
I don't know why but Keith and I are always shocked at the crowds downtown! We waited about 30 minutes to get in, which at the looks of the line when we walked up didn't seems so bad.
Us waiting.
We agreed to just do the general admission for today. So we were able to walk around the first floor and look at fish, snakes, turtles, and much more. Logan was so cute, he was pointing, smiling and even laughed at some of the fish.
We stayed about an hour before Logan was tired and honestly I was too. It was a fun afternoon together.
I was so exhausted when we got home, Grandma told me to go rest and she and Logan played. It was a much appreciated nap before dinner! It's nice to have family here to give me a chance to rest, I am feeling very pregnant these days!

Pass the cake
Happy Birthday to Aunt Sabrina! She turned 15 today! Keith took her shopping at the Apple store for accessories for her new IPad and we had yummy pizza for dinner.
Her birthday cake came from Oberweis, a dairy store we go to for milk and sometimes ice cream. ;)

Never say never
Before Keith & I had kids and would talk about having a family, we would always say "Oh, we'll never have a minivan...". HAHA! Well, never say never!
Ever since we found out I was pregnant again we have been throwing the idea around about a minivan. We both LOVE the Xb but it's just not going to hold a family a four, and the Xterra is a great car especially in the winter but it sits high and I have trouble getting Logan in and out. Finally we decided to go to Carmax and see what both cars were worth and then go from there. Well, they offered us more than we were expecting and had a van on the lot that we were interested in. So... we traded both cars for a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country! Parting with the Xb was hard for us but priorities change when you have babies. We made the best descion for our growing family. The van drives great, and has all the space we need, so remember never say never!
Goodbye Xb & Xterra, you have been good to us.
Hello Minivan, I know we will have some great family trips together in the future!

Happy 4th!
The weather was beautiful this weekend. We went to the base yesterday. The Great Lakes base is 100 years old this year and they always have a big 4th of July weekend celebration. A local rock station hosted so there was live music, carnival rides, food, and all different kinds of booths giving things away. We walked around, Keith & Sabrina rode a ride, and we had the necessary funnel cake!
Today is Keith's Moms Birthday, so we made birthday fajitas and Keith made a yummy chocolate cake! We took a walk, played outside and had a nice family day.
Oh, and Logan sat down in a chair that Keith bought him about a month ago all by himself! It was so cute!!

Grandmas Birthday!
Williby tradition is to blacken the birthday girl/boy nose! (Comes from car exhaust!!)

Elmo
Logan was cuddling with Elmo this morning. He always looks so cute carrying him around and hugging him. Elmo is his buddy.
This afternoon Keith's Mom and sister came in town. Logan watched them at first and then started showing them his toys. Before long he was playing with his grandma and even let her hold him!
In the evening we were outside enjoying to cooler weather (it was 92 today!) and our neighbors were playing with their dogs. Logan went over to the fence and was watching the dogs run around.
We have an eventful week ahead. Two birthdays, 4th of July and lots of time playing!
