Family left today and we decided to go out for the afternoon rather than stay in and do housework... yuck. Keith has been wanting to go to a Lake County Fielders game so we headed out to the game. We thought it was minor league but it's actually part of the newly formed independent North American League. They are owned by Kevin Costner and this is their second season. I believe the stadium is under construction, right now it's just a field with bleachers and some seating. It was fun, you're really close to the field. We were actually sitting by players wives hearing all the gossip... kinda funny! Here are some pictures from our outing.
Oh! I almost forgot ELMO WAS THERE!! Logan smiled at Elmo and put his hand out. I think he wanted to touch him! ;) He does not take after his Mommy, L is not scared of weird dressed up characters!
OMG, that Elmo is RAD. Poppy would have gone ballistic if she saw something like that. I am so proud of you for staying in the same general area as a costumed character. Look at how far you've come! ;-)
HAHA... that's what Keith said too. He was even closer to us than the picture shows at one point & I didn't freak. I guess b/c L was enjoying it, I forgot I hated costumed characters!
